The fire fighting system STOPFIRE series are designed for installations where Technical Rules or International Standards apply, such as: EN 12845, CEPREVEN, NFPA 20, NFPA 20 FM / UL approved, APSAD, CEA.

Note: In Portugal, ANPC requires the use of the EN12845 or NFPA20 standard.

SYSTEM COMPOSITION

Regardless of the Standards, the pumping system is usually characterized by the following sets: 

- Main Pump Set

- Standby Pump Set

- Jockey Group

- Test Manifold.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

The construction materials of the pumps must take into account the pumped fluid as well as the specific requirements in the Standards.

The pumps used in our STOPFIRE range are usually of Cast-iron construction with a Bronze impeller, however we also manufacture these pumps with other materials such as Zinc-free Bronze or Stainless Steel 316 used in sea water applications, as example of many other applications.
